About Apricot Cards

Marit is married to Richard and they live with their lovely airdale terrier in a small town called Cricklade in the Cotswolds.  Marit was born in the Netherlands and moved to the UK in 1983.  She came from a creative family with her dad being an art teacher and mum being skilled at weaving and batik.  She benefited from their input and influence during her childhood.  However, having spent over 30 years working in the corporate sector, she only tapped into that creativity more recently.  Her father passed away in 2018 and left her an enormous collection of coloured pencils.  She started drawing in 2022 and found her new hobby addictive.  She just loves drawing and has been doing it everyday ever since.  She loves colour and feels inspired by everyday life and the environment around her.  She set up Apricot Cards at the end of 2023 and is now a wholesale card publisher.
